Overview（概述）

Thissurgicalprocedurecratesmorespaceforthespinalcordandnerverootstorelievethepainfulpressureofspinalstenosis,anarrowingofthespinalcanalthatcanresultfromarthritis.

　　本手术为脊髓和神经根创造更多的空间，能缓解椎管狭窄压迫产生的疼痛。椎管狭窄是因关节炎等原因引起的椎管管径变小。

Preparation（准备）

Anesthesiaisadministered,andthepatientisplacedinaface-downposition.Thesurgeoncreatesanincisiononthebackofthenecktoaccessthecervicalspine.

　　麻醉后，患者取俯卧位。术者在颈后作切口，以显露颈椎。

CuttingtheVertebra（切开椎骨）

Ononesideofthespine,thesurgeonscoreseachlamina-thebonyareathatcoversthespinalcord-tocreateaverticalgroove.Ontheotherside,thesurgeoncarefullycutsallthewaythrougheachlamina.

　　在脊柱的一侧，术者在每个椎板（覆盖在脊髓后方的骨性结构）上划痕，作一条垂直的骨槽，在对侧，将椎板完全切断。

PressureRelieved（解除压迫）

Thegroovesactashinges,allowingthevertebraetoopenlikeadoor.Thiscreatesmorespaceinthespinalcanal,immediatelyrelievingpressurefromthespinalcordandnerveroots.thesurgeionexaminesthespinalcanalandremovesanybonespursorothersourcesof 　　骨槽充当合页，使椎骨象门一样打开，这样可以为椎管创造更多的空间，立即解除了脊髓和神经根的压迫。术者检查椎管并去除骨赘和其它致压因素。

WedgesPlaced（放置楔子）

Thersurgeoninsertssmallwedgesofbonegraftmaterialtoholdtheboneopen.Screwsandmetalimplantssecurethevertbraeandthebonewedges.

　　术者在开门侧放入楔形的小移植骨块，以保持骨板张开。用螺钉和接骨板固定椎骨和楔形骨块。

EndofProcedureandAftercare（手术结束及术后护理）

Theincisionisclosedandbandaged,anddrainsmaybeplacedinthewoundtopreventfluidbuildup.Asoftcervicalcollarmaybeused.Physicaltherapymaybeneeded.

　　关闭并包扎切口。伤口内放置引流管防止积液。可能需要使用软颈托保护以及物理治疗。
